Hi I am Iain and I am a wedding photographer based just outside Glasgow on the Clyde coast. So about me….bit of a Star Wars collector geek and anything Nordic Noir I’ll watch it and I’ve got an unhealthy obsession with Fjallraven outdoors clothing and my claim to fame is making onto their website…I know its the little things that just do it sometimes…

My time off, I’ll probably be on a mountain or a trail somewhere in Scotland. It’s great time to recharge the batteries and just switch off and its a great way to keep you very fit for those back to back wedding days!

In my early photo career I mainly photographed Triathlon/ Multi and Adventure Sports, From Common Wealth Games to various Triathlon World and European championships all for a varied number of lifestyle & sports magazines, sponsors and commercial clients. Apart from chasing athletes up and down mountains, in and out of lochs and above and below water, I manage a number of magazine covers which I am quite proud of and commissions from commercial Sports Agencies and Brands like Specialized Bikes, Saucony and Lucazade Sports to name a few.

My photography since I started photographing adventure sports for clients has always been more documentary so it was an easy step taking this into my wedding photography and also adding in creative photography into the mix too with my first wedding I photographed was in 1995 at Culzean Castle and I loved it…

For over 20 years I did the photography for the governing body of Triathlon in Scotland and for a time British Triathlon and I photographed my first wedding in 1995 at Culzean Castle and I loved it… So that’s me , I am very easy going, love the outdoors lifestyle, like a good laugh but take my profession seriously and I am pretty lucky to actually love and enjoy my full time job and the service I provide and how I work on your wedding day is second to none which I think shows in my work.

He let us mingle with guests and pulled us away briefly to get the shots and looking back at the images I hadn’t even realised he was there to capture the small moments which really mean so much.
